azul-layout is a performant, cross-platform layout engine for building graphical user interfaces. It provides accurate CSS layout calculation, text shaping and rendering, and other features for creating desktop applications.

Currently supports:

  • CSS flexbox layout, tested against Chrome
  • Font decoding and rendering, incl. justification, RTL support, shaping, float using yeslogic/allsorts
  • CSS 2.1 styling (backgrounds, images, box shadows, borders, positioning)
